Jesus asked his disciples, “what about you? Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.”
The question Jesus asked his disciples is a question that He offers us. “What about you? Who do you say I am?” What do we believe about Jesus? Simon Peter declared Jesus to be the Son of the living God and was declared to be blessed for believing in Jesus’ true identity. We too will be blessed by believing in Jesus to be the Son of the living God. His grace and truth will touch our lives in a meaningful way for today and eternity when our hope is in Him.
Today’s Lesson of Faith - Jesus says, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
