Well Aria did not make it to Nationals so no Disney World for us

 

She did have fun though and learned a lot over the past three years in Math Counts, especially this year making it to States.  She learned that when we told her she should be studying more we weren't kidding.  Those kids pour all they got into it.  One of her team mates made the PA team for Nationals though.

 

So, since there is no Math League in the high school that is my project now, I already e-mailed all the high school math teachers to see if we can get one started for next year.  When I showed Aria how math league works she figures she may have a better chance with that.  As do I, cause it is all tests and tests she does really well on.  No buzzing in count down rounds.

 

Of course I told Aria he high school mission is to get them to do Chess as the Spring Musical one of the years she is there
